Lovely home and a great location - views in all directions! Visited Felbrigg, Blickling, Cley, Blakeney, Holt, Sheringham, Comer, Aylsham and North Walsham. The choice of foodstuffs at Bakers & Larners in Holt is mazing. The frozen fare is so good - and what an excuse to be lazy and not prepare meals! Loved the quirky layout and decor - and spent as much time outside as possible. We'd love to come back.

What a lovely surprise awaited us when we arrived! The Old School House was spotless, light and airy. A good start. Everything has been chosen with though and taste. Also an idea location for shopping and dining. We will certainly recommend to our friends.

Lovely house and great location for the numerous day trips we had. Would definitely recommend the King's Head at Letheringsett, Holt. Lovely garden with play equipment, friendly staff and good food.

What a beutiful house and garden. We hugely enjoyed our stay in uncharactaristically warm, dry weather – with the sunset views a real highlight. We particularly enjoyed the beach at Mundesley, the seals at Blakeney Point, Holt Market and the Norwich Catherdral Quarter. We also had three good meals at The Bucks Arms at Blickling, Thanks for the hospitality.

We’ve had a lovely break and thoroughly enjoyed the space, colours and shapes - indoors and outdoors. Mum came to visit from Suffolk and wanted us to mention that she started her teaching career in a Victorian school house just at the time this one was changing its purpose. So she enjoyed her stay even more, with so many resonances. Best bits of Norfolk for us are always - swimming at Blakeney and walking to Cley, making the worthwhile drive to Brancaster and obligatory ice cream everywhere in between - and this year the hot sunshine as a bonus!

A delightful stay in a comfortable house, in a peaceful setting. Plenty to explore on the coast and lovely places to eat. We had the best lunch ever at the Saracens Head, Wolterton.

This was our first visit to Norfolk - what a fantastic county it is! We packed in so much in 6 days, based at this absolutely delightful house. Full of character and a wonderful ambience, it was extremely well presented. There’s something to do for everyone, but we will return to finish off the experience.

Fantastic property - spacious house in a great location with a beautiful garden. We absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed having family over for a BBQ in the garden. The owners provided a lovely welcome basket which was full of Norfolk-based items which was really thoughtful.

Wonderful house, perfect for our setup with newbie. Visited Holt, Happisburgh, Cromer, West Runton & Sheringham. Weather was ATROCIOUS but hunkering down in this house was FANTASTIC! We will be back.

Absolutely loved Blakeney, Holkham beach when the sun was shining and some creative local walks, Walpole Arms and the fantastic town of Holt. Enjoying this beautiful house and fab garden in an unbelievable setting was the core of a wonderful holiday.

What a wonderful house! We celebrated our twins 4th birthday whilst here and have had such a good holiday. We took the steam train from Sheringham and even rode with the driver! We went to Cromer and Pretty Corner woods as well as West Runton beach. All was brilliant. Thank you so much.

A really lovely time enjoyed by all the family in the hottest Bank Holiday on record! The cottage was amazingly cool despite the 30º C temperature outside. Beautiful scenic location with outstanding rural views of the countryside. Everything in the cottage worked perfectly. An excellent break in a wonderful location.

Thank you. We’ve had a brilliant time at the Old School House, its beautiful inside and out! We’ve been seal watching at Morston, hired a boat on the Broads, been to Holkham beach, Sheringham and Cromer. Had a lovely meal that the Walpole Arms - great Tapas!

We have had a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday in this beautiful house - just like home from home! We found the information for guests very helpful in exploring the area - thank you. Our favourite beach was definitely Holkham - worth the trek. We ate out every night, The Wiveton Bell was excellent - great food and atmosphere, but by far our favourite was The Gunton Arms - a MUST - excellent food, location, and ART!!!! Go!! We shall be back.
